I m not a coffee aficionado, but for the first time in my stay here at Helsinki, I was invited to have a coffee with a finn lady Tiiu. I'm trying to get pumped up for it. I feel relaxed, vibrant and lively when I spend time with a person whom I like and I never thought I would meet such a person here. A short background as to how it all started !
Tiiu, my colleague, we worked together for a couple of months and departed and almost stopped interacting for 4 months or so. My work demanded me again to work with Tiiu after say around 6 months. But this time I felt something special, not as before. I liked her company and support in day to day job and things were moving smooth. For the first time I got a chance to talk to her personally when we meet in our office canteen for lunch. And guess what ! I enjoyed chatting with her and she wanted to continue this later sometime.
On one fine day, a mail arrived to my inbox for a coffee with her (I never knew if I can call this just a evening coffee or a Coffee date). Out of excitement I just agreed without thinking about my plans on that day; unfortunately had to cancel them. Since I was not that familiar with the city I have asked her opinion about the venue, time and meeting point.
Well thats how it all started and let me see how it goes my first time with a finn !
